Lauren Simonds
The Sparkle Bitch
Lauren has called Western Washington home for more than 30 years. After a long and fulfilling career as a nonprofit leader, she decided retirement wasn’t the end of her story — it was the start of owning her sparkle!
It all began in 2023 at a Moonlight Market in Bend. While wandering through the booths, Lauren spotted a hair sparkler and thought, “Why not?” She started with 20 in a variety of colors, and before she left town, she’d already booked her next appointment. That night, she traded in her pride rainbow hair for something even more fun — SPARKLES! Lauren proudly sports between 30 and 50 at any given time, surprising those around with her dazzling tresses.
After retiring, Lauren decided it was finally time to turn that sparkle into something bigger. She completed her training, stocked up on supplies, and The Sparkle Bitch was born — a name that captures her confidence, humor, and unmistakable glitter energy.
Today, Lauren isn’t just shining herself — she’s helping others find their sparkle too.
